State Round 2006
Well Folks State Round is finally here, We are about to start all over again to crown the WA 2006 Quad Pro Champion & Clubman Champion.
The excitement has been building through the preliminaries of Quickstarts, Summercross and seeing the National Round staged at AJS for Solos and Supercross Masters at Claremont has got us all bouncing with enthusiasm to get the series underway.

State Round Co-ordinator Dave Geneve stated that over 250 riders will compete at the Collie circuit, the format for some classes being altered to sort out qualifiers with so many additional new racers.

The scenic track runs along the Collie Dam, with Easter campers on almost all sides, 100’s taking advantage camping at the track over the entire weekend. Junior State Round is on Saturday and parking will be at a premium with over 220 riders competing in the Junior round.
Thirty riders have nominated for both Quad Classes and the battle will be on.
Our Large state stretching over 3000kms North and more than 2000kms to the east is fielding one of the largest fields ever in a state round, with Riders coming from Esperance, Kalgoorlie, Albany, Tom Price and Perth

The list of Pro Racers is sensational starting with National Pro champ Chris Brenton, exciting youngster Chad Mckay, the return of ANT Yewers to quad racing, 3 times state champ Glenn Ashworth, Colin Jefferies, Kevin Fanning, Ryan Lancaster the list goes on ! Take your cameras !!!
Clubman Class has an abundance of new racers, with a recruiting drive by Coastal to give the Quads a home to race, there is now a field of 16 competing in this class. It will certainly be interesting to watch how this race meet pans out and who in clubmans will take over from last years outstanding racer Wayne Dickinson.
Don’t spend Sunday home gardening, drive down to Collie for the day and see the best racers WA has to offer, even the solos will be worth watching
