Gaisford’s take out the Quinella at Coastal Cup on May 24th
Grant Gaisford and Luke Gaisford battled for line honours at the recent Coastal Cup, in a field of 14 riders, father and son duo and Rockingham Powersports team mates took out the Quinella on the torturous Coastal park circuit. Grant on board the Honda TRX450ER and Luke on the Can-Am DS450. The Gaisford’s never came wheel to wheel across the day’s racing as some errors by young Luke saw him start 2 of the 3 races from the back of the field having to make the pass on everyone on the short 4 lap races while Grant got good starts hit the front and stayed there. Luke did the same in race 2 to take the 2nd race win, and finish the day 2nd behind Grant.
Team RPS will travel down to Southern Capes Motorcycle Club on June 15th to compete in Motorex WA State Motocross Series Round 3, where Luke currently holds 1st place in the Intermediate Quads, while Grant is Equal first in Veterans.
