Quad Racing
1.Club Days- Held at AJS approx 12 per year
2.Club Days- Held at Coastal approx 6 per year
3.Club Days- Held at Bunbury
4. Club Days- Held at Busselton
Senior Quads all usually race together on one Grid (max 20)
Registration Days for Clubs are held in January, with your membership valid from Jan 1 to Dec 31st.
You must hold a “Race Licence” to race on club days.
To get one, contact the club you will join, you will have a riding test, to make sure you can ride. Valid for 12 mths.
Once you have your paperwork done and posted off, you will be allocated a race number. This race number must be on the front and rear of your bike, and you must have it on your back (either jersey or armour)
This out of the way, your first club day may be all very new to you.
1.Remember to check your kill switch works the night before.
2.Arrive at the club approx 7am- sign in closes 8am
3.Scrutineering- Take your bike, helmet, boots, Licence and club membership card (do not ride to scrutineering) & approx $25
4.Pit your quad- don’t be frightened to find someone else with a quad and pit near them.
5.Listen for Riders meeting about 8.15am- The Clerk of course will give you info about the day, and also the event order(which will also be written up on a board)
6.When its your turn to race, make sure your in the Pit Shoot with plenty of time.
7.When you finish racing, you must push your bike from the pit entrance to where you are pitted.
8.When your finished racing for the day- Push your bike to your car, don’t ride it.

1. Join a MWA Affiliated Club ie. Metro area- Coastal Motorcycle Club, BSA-Harley Davidson Motorcycle Club, AJS Motorcycle Club
2. Through these clubs, obtain your National Competition Licences
Approx $285.00
3. Become an active Club member , try to attend all club days, busy bee's and meetings.
4. Attend permitted practice days and get to know your club track and your quad.
5. As confidence builds, check out your MWA calendar, Open events are held across the state about once per month, State Rounds are held 6 times per year.

Beyond Club Days
Open Events and State Rounds
There are 6 State Rounds per year between April - September
2 Grids of Quads- Pro/Intermediate (championship Class)
State Rounds are run with Solo’s classes at 6 different clubs. Points accumulate for the Series, with Prize money paid after each round.
Open Events are held at varying clubs including
Summercross- Under lights in February Coastal Park
BSA Cup
Southern Cross Open
Golden Wheel - Kalgoorlie
Southern Capes MX Challenge - Busselton
Manjimup Open
How do you find out about these events?
Look on the www.motorcyclingwa.org.au web site under “Downloads” “Entry Forms”
Check regularly and keep an eye on the calendar.
You must pre- enter Opens and State rounds,
you can’t enter on the day
Closing dates are usually 10 days before an event.
Please read the info carefully with the entry - these are called supplementary Regulations( in short sup regs)
-ie entering the correct class, ie Quad Clubman, Quad Vets, Quad Intermediate. Quad Pro.
-Prefix your number Q ie Q14 (so no confusion with solos)
-address cheque properly
-always send a stamped self addressed envelope for passes(otherwise you will have to pay to get into an event, over an above your entry fee)
-make sure you sign the indemnity and attach to your entry form
