Events and GCR’s

Well here we are, looking at a new seasons calendar.
Motorcycling Australia has also published the new 2009 GCR’s which are available to view on their website www.ma.org.au


All racers should make themselves aware of the current rules governing, safety, quad specifications and general rules.
ie width of bike, no glass, number plate requirements, kill switches etc…
Armour, ages and cc’s for juniors.
The whole book may look over whelming, but only specific parts involve Quads and the MX discipline. Please take the time to familiarise yourself with them.

There are a lot of positions within MX that need to be filled in order for any event to take place. MA Steward, Clerk of Course, scrutineers, race secretary and flaggies, most racers and their families have obtained their level one officials in order to be able to participate in permitted practice, if you would like to upgrade your levels, your clubs can help you out in letting you know what positions they need and how to go about getting them.
