Great day had by all, with lots of fun
Luke and Sam dressed for the occasion with bright coloured tights
others wore no peek helmets, upside down peeks, someone had their boxer shorts and pj top on the outside of their riding gear, some wore flannelette! all in good fun!
The 90cc James, Shania and Chad & Zac did the whole track, and were on each others back wheels for competitive racing, . the 200cc class welcomed back Don Petersen from Injury, sporting a new raptor and cruising away to 2 victories, Josh and Chris kept up the pace, while the senior class saw all the usuals and welcomed some visitors on the line about 14 senior riders all up,
the racing was put into reverse for the finale, which everyone seemed to enjoy, pretty major drop offs everywhere as upramps became down ramps.
Matt Battista provided a selection of his own trophies to hand to the winners in an emotional presentation.
The day concluded with much fun and mayhem on the newly installed burn-out pad, Brian and Milan set the standard with a few two wheelers and a Harley making a huge amount of noise and smoke. Many Maula T Shirts were sold and remembering all profits for the day were to go to the Battista trust.
Lots of visitors came to watch the fun and support the Battista Trust event, great to catch up and have a social day !
The sun went down over the ocean completing another great season and day of fun to finish it all up.
