What an interesting days racing, congratulations to Ant for winning Round 4 of the Pro Championships round taking fast lap time for Race 1 interesting to compare this time with the Pro Opens !
2nd Ryan Lancaster who rode smoothly all day jumping on every oppportunity that arose, really smart ride. Graham Terry won race 3 after a huge battle with Ant and Ryan, some of which we managed to get on Video, including CB's seat flying off and becoming a target! Glenn Ashworth came in 4th with a mixed bag of a day, and Dad for the 4th time last night ! Kevin Fanning.... How he rode after a night in the delivery room we will always wonder, that Polaris Outlaw certainly looked at home in the conditions.
19 Clubmans wheeled out on the grid which was an amazing site to see from the other side of the track{wont say the Bar ! lol} Congratulations Corey on not only your 1st State Round Race victory but also your second and also Round win. Clint came in 2nd with a consistant day staying out of trouble and Michael Harcourt came in 3rd overall, staying in touch with the overall series leaders.
Tom and Brad had the intermedate class to themselves as others where "No shows" Tom's lap times breaking the 2 minute barrier in race 3, having got faster as the day went on. Brad and Grant had good battles with consistant 2.02 and 2.04 fastest lap times over 7 laps certainly becomes a marathon when your battling the track conditions.
Congratulations to all 31 riders out there today who battled the terrible track conditions.... the carpark and pits were bad enough !
31 riders is the most quad riders we have ever had turn up to a state round !
