Local Bunbury rider Mitchell Clarke dominated the Clubman class at Round 2 of the Series, early charges from Kyle Brenton, Brad Filbey & Brodie Puleo and others where short lived as Mitch put consistent fast laptimes in to eventually take out all three races with a perfect 75pts. Brodie Puleo a second year Clubman wrapped up second place for the round with a 4th 3rd 3rd . while Kyle Brenton beat Brad Filbey on a countback for 3rd for the day. Sam Derbyshire deserves a mention taking 2nd place in race 2 and placing him in equal 3rd for the series thus far.

Intermediate Quad Rider Ross Varnavides racing within the Pro Grid is making a name for himself finishing all 3 races within the top 5 for Open placings, and 1st for the round in Intermediates, also heading the Intermediate table by 17points for the series. Daniel Udell took 2nd in every race, and now sits 2nd for the series, while brother Tom bagged 55 points for the round and 3rd place for the day, is playing catch up, after a not so good start in round 1. Steve Trandos and Ricky Stephens sit on Equal points in 3rd place for the series.

Pro Quad Racer and Aus #3 Chad Mckay took a hattrick of wins for Round 2 and also to take the lead in the series, leaving the minor placings in each race to be fought out between Luke Gaisford, Anthony Yewers, Glen Ashworth and Aus #1 Ryan Lancaster, who returning from injury grabbed himself a bag of points and some much needed race practice. Gaisford took the second on a countback from Anthony Yewers both on 60points. Watch for updates on the WA Quad Crew as they head East this weekend to compete in round 2 of the Tri State Series in South Australia.

Round 3 of the State Motocross Championships will be held at AJS Motorcycle Club on June 7th.
