Summercross 2010 was held last weekend under lights on a shortened MX track at Coastal Park.
The 90cc class unfortunately was'nt well supported by the states best, and only had three entrants. Practice sessions prior to race night were great pre-season training and Chris Bosnakis lap times saw him trying his best to break the 50 second laptime. To put this in perspective, quite a few of the 200cc and senior riders were lapping at 52 seconds plus.
Chris put on a great show for the huge crowd, lapping fast and clearing jumps that many would'nt attempt, attracting comments in the crowd about just how fast can this kid go?
Chris put in a hattrick of wins for the race night, with James Ognenis #56 in second place, Adam Filbey #17 in third.

Chris took 3 out of the 4 wins after a mishap rounding a sweeping corner saw his hand slip from the handle bar and Chris fall onto his nerf bar. Sorting himself out after losing about half a lap to his competitors, he chased down the leaders with less than a bike length separating the winner Jay and Chris through for second place.
Chris received the overall Plate of "Junior

Coastal Club Run
The 90cc class was dominated by young powerhouse Chris Bosnakis, who looks to have set his sight on being the first 90cc to clear the infamous Coastal infield jump, with ooo's and ahs from the crowd as he landed just a safe bike length short of the damp ramp, it doesnt seem that this is forever going to be out of his reach. James Ognenis riding quicker as he gets used to the Cobra gears looks more comfortable after each race, with Adam Filbey and Shania Hutchins pushing each other to new heights and providing same great spectator viewing for all the quad crew watching. Zac Ognenis sported a new DRR and fresh out of the crate may be the first one of its kind in Australia.
