Thursday 4th March

Have just landed in Sydney where it is 6:30am (3:30am WA time) and waiting on Cy, Luke and the flight to Brisbane before we start our journey over to LA. I will be landing in LA in 20mins if you want to get technical but I still have a 14 hour flight over to America. Everything is coming together nicely the bikes should be at Baldwins Friday so a big thanks to Jeff for organising bikes over there for me, suspension and a-arms have arrived and are ready to go on the bike and all other parts should be at Tim Farr’s house in Florida. Cant wait to get on the bike and start testing, I didn’t get as much time on the bike at home as I would have liked. Big shout out to the guys at KTM for all their help through out last year and the start of this year, thanks guys.

Sorry I have been lazy with the blogs but I have been super busy, I landed safely in LA after a 12.5 hour flight from Brisbane. Cy organised us to stay with Kory Ellis which has been a blast, Kory took us to the Suzuki head quarters where we got to see the race bikes and where all the development in engines and chassis happen. We also got a tour through the Yoshimura factory which was pretty cool, there are photos up of the Suzuki place but unfortunately  I couldn’t take too many pictures in the Suzuki factory because they don’t want things getting out. Yesterday we all went and watched Josh Creamer and Kory Ellis train at a private track which was super cool and man are they fast, Creamer done 2 x 30min motos and set his fastest lap of the day on his 18th lap which shows just how fit they are. I got a few good shots and a couple of movies of him at the track. The track is amazing its so much better than everything back in Australia there were 2 different tracks, one for 2 wheelers and the other for quads. Cy, Luke and myself fly out to Florida tomorrow night and get there at 6am where we will meet up with Tim Farr. Expect blogs more regularly now bye all.

Just a quick hello, I’m currently flying to Florida as I write this, it’s a 4.5 hour flight and I can’t really sleep. We were lucky enough to get exit seats which are pretty cool. I will be getting my bike soon and be able to go riding so when that happens I will have some helmet cam footage. Josh Creamer has invited me to ride at his track which looks pretty cool if you add him on face book you can check out some of his movies on his profile of his track, it looks gnarly.  Have just uploaded some pictures of Josh Creamer training at a track near Murrieta LA.  I will be uploading some more photos of Glen Helen and Chaparral which is a huge MX store full of everything. Time for some sleep now speak soon.

Thursday, 18th March.

So I have been having a ball here in America and have forgotten to keep my blogs up to date. We have been riding a lot since we have gotten out bikes, have been camping at tracks where there have been anywhere between 15 - 20 quads practicing. Went with Tim Farr and Josh Kirkland to a night practice which was sick but we couldn’t get many pictures of the track because my camera didn’t work that well in the dark. Now we are at a track in Lake city which is also a wicked track, they are all privately owned, you pay $20 - $40 to ride, water and power provided and no dust! I have helmet cam footage and some photos of the lake city track (it was the one posted on my site but them pictures are of the mini track which we didn’t know). Thomas Brown and Chad Wienen were out here Wednesday but on Chad’s 2nd lap he come up about 6 foot short on a big table top, snapped an axle and knocked himself out but he was ok. It was funny a little afterwards because he kept asking the same things over and over again. Monday we leave here and head to Keith Little’s track where we will ride with Keith, Josh Creamer, Thomas Brown (have been riding with him at Lake City track), Joel Hetrick and a few others. I don’t always have internet so I can only post the blogs, photos and videos whenever I get wireless signal. I’ll Keep you all posted it’s only a week and a bit until my first race.
